Florida International Summit
Every two years, our TY students are invited to attend an International Summit in Florida in Pompano Beach Highschool. Over fifteen countries from across the world are invited and students learn about the school system of USA, make connections and friendships and explore different cultures. Competition is high, and students apply for the exchange and are interviewed by the Deputy Principal, Year Head and a traveling teacher.
French Exchange
Every two years, second year French students have the opportunity to visit France and experience French culture and develop their language skills. In return, French students come to the school and experience our culture.
Japanese Exchange
Every year, students from St. Raphaela's participate in an exchange programme with Mukogawa High School in Hyogo prefecture, Japan. During the exchange, the students spend two weeks in Japan, where they stay with host families, attend Japanese school and participate in cultural activities. The students welcome their Japanese host sisters in return, who participate in our TY programme for two weeks.
Last year, we also welcomed a group of visiting teachers and students from our sister school in Kamakura Japan, Heisen Jogakuin.
