Hello and welcome to St Raphaela's Secondary School!
Our names are Sofia, Evie and Rosie and we are delighted to be the Head Girls here at St. Raphaela's Secondary School for the 2026/2027 school year.
As the Head Girls, our focus is to create a positive, welcoming, and loving atmosphere in our school. We find it important to nurture the ethos of St Raphaela Mary: ’love always, love each other’. Alongside our team of Prefects, we strive to support incoming students and help them adapt to the school environment. We aim to assist our fellow students to achieve their goals and enjoy their time here at St Raphaela’s.
Beyond the classroom, our teachers and coaches generously dedicate their time to a wide variety of clubs and societies - from Hockey and Basketball to Choir and Science Club - there really is something on offer for everyone. Extracurricular activities have provided us with the opportunities to make friends and forge new connections. It has been a privilege to wear the St Raphaela’s jersey; there is a real sense of pride and belonging that comes with representing our school.
We have had many opportunities to experience different trips and workshops in St. Raphaela’s. Between the three of us, we travelled to Paris on a 10-day exchange, Barcelona on an educational biology trip, and Florida for an International Schools Summit! Representing Ireland, we introduced different nations to our culture, explored Universal Studios and brought Irish energy to the NBA! These trips gave us many chances to grow and develop as students, but also as friends, leaders, and individuals.
Over the past five years, we have come to learn that being a ‘Raphaela Girl’ is so much more than the school you attend. A Raphaela Girl embodies confidence, capability, and most importantly compassion, with a drive to reach their goals.
We hope that everyone who enters through our doors enjoys their time at St Raphaela's as much as we have!
