We are incredibly lucky to have Fiona Ni Corcoran, a Senior Dublin football and camogie player on staff at St Raphaela’s.
Ladies Gaelic Football
There is a keen interest in ladies football in St. Raphaelas.
Past pupil Saoirse Tulié is new at the helm and is supported by Maths teacher Stephen Cole. We wish them every success going forward.
St. Raphaela’s competed in the recent Leinster post primary schools junior league and performed well considering our young side.
We are looking forward to the U14 competition in the new year.
We are well represented by both club and non club players.
Clubs represented; Naomh Olaf, Kilmacud Crokes, Ballinteer St. Johns, Cuala, Foxrock- Cabinteely, Stars of Erin.
Dublin County Ladies Football Representation
Evie Lehane (2nd year) was a member of the Dublin U14 development squad.
Past pupil Ciara Regan (Kilmacud Crokes) is making great progress through Dublin U21 and senior squads.
Aoife Mc Loughlin (2nd year) refereed an All Ireland Sevens Game in Croke Park on All Ireland Senior Football Final Day in September 2015. Aoife is a dual player with her club Naomh Olaf.
Dublin County Camogie Representation
Róisín Mac Loughlin (6th year) of Cumann Naomh Olaf is currently representing Dublin at minor camogie level.
Shannon Boyle (Naomh Olaf) & Niamh Casey (Ballinteer St. Johns) (2nd years) are currently representing Dublin at U15 level.
