Bloody Sunday school events
Today, we commemorated the 100th anniversary of the events of Bloody Sunday, November 21st, 1920.
The 6th year History class gave a great presentation to the junior History classes on Thursday and Friday.
The students were allowed wear their GAA tops with their uniform and money collected was to fundraise for Concern.
One of the victims of Bloody Sunday was a local man and is buried in a small cemetery in Dundrum. On Saturday 21st there will be a wreath laying ceremony at his grave and we will lay a wreath on behalf of the students of St. Raphaela's.
Thanks a mill to Ms O Byrne for all her work in this and to the 6th years for their super input and involvement too!
